Second-Generation Craftsmanship. Premium Materials. Free Skylight Inspections for Every Arkansas Homeowner.
A skylight should pour natural light into your home — not invite water in around its edges. Arkansas weather is hard on rooftop openings, and an aging or poorly flashed skylight soon turns into a source of leaks, drafts, and interior damage. When you need expert skylight installation and repair, you want a roofing contractor who knows exactly how these systems connect to the rest of your roof.
Pegasus Roofing and Construction is Central Arkansas’s trusted name for skylight installation and repair, led by owner Joseph Blankenship — a second-generation roofer who’s worked on rooftops since age 10. From new skylight installations and replacements to leak repairs and flashing fixes, our skylight installation and repair team serves Ward, Cabot, Little Rock, Jacksonville, and communities across the region.
What We Do
Our Complete Skylight Installation & Repair Services
Skylight Installation
Installing a skylight transforms a room — adding daylight, improving ventilation, and opening up spaces that once felt closed off. Pegasus manages complete skylight installation from framing and cutting to flashing and sealing, blending each unit seamlessly into your existing roofing system for a watertight, long-lasting result.
We install a full range of skylight options to suit your home, your budget, and your vision:
- Fixed skylights
- Ventilating (venting) skylights
- Tubular skylights
- Curb-mounted units
- Deck-mounted units
- Energy-efficient glazing
Every skylight installation includes proper decking preparation, precision flashing, and thorough cleanup — because a skylight is only as dependable as the roof work surrounding it.
Skylight Repairs
Not every skylight problem calls for a full replacement, and we’ll never say it does unless it truly does. Whether you’re facing a stubborn leak, cracked glass, failed flashing, condensation buildup, or worn seals, our skylight repair services restore your skylight to peak condition quickly and correctly. We track down the real source of the trouble — not just the visible drip — and repair it right the first time.
Free Skylight Inspections
Not sure whether your skylight is the source of that leak? Wondering if it needs resealing, repair, or full replacement? Pegasus Roofing offers free skylight inspections to every Central Arkansas homeowner — no pressure, no sales pitch, no cost. Our skylight repair team thoroughly evaluates your skylight and its flashing, documents any damage with photos, and gives you an honest report of what we found and what we recommend. You’ll have everything you need to decide with confidence.
Storm-Damaged Skylight Repair
Arkansas endures some of the most severe storm activity in the country, and skylights are especially exposed to weather damage. A single impact can crack the glazing, loosen the flashing, or break the seal — and damage that looks minor often leads to leaks weeks later. If your home sat in the path of a recent storm, don’t assume your skylight came through unharmed — schedule a skylight inspection.
We provide free storm-damaged skylight inspections, detailed documentation, and experienced guidance through the insurance claims process from start to finish.
Insurance Claim Assistance
A denied or underpaid insurance claim after storm damage is one of the most frustrating situations a homeowner can face. Pegasus Roofing has helped hundreds of Central Arkansas homeowners navigate the claims process — from documenting skylight and roof damage correctly from the start to resolving disputes and making sure the scope of work reflects the true extent of your loss.
We know how insurance companies evaluate these claims, what documentation they require, and how to present your case effectively. We’ll stand beside you through every step so your skylight repair isn’t overlooked.
Please note: Pegasus Roofing and Construction is a licensed residential contractor. We provide insurance assistance in our capacity as your skylight installation and repair contractor — we are not public adjusters or insurance professionals. For complex legal or claims disputes, we recommend consulting a licensed public adjuster or attorney.
Why Central Arkansas Homeowners Trust Pegasus With Their Skylights
Second-Generation Roofing Knowledge
Joseph Blankenship didn’t learn roofing in a classroom — he grew up on rooftops, working alongside his father from age 10. That lifelong, hands-on experience means when Pegasus installs or repairs your skylight, you’re getting the judgment of someone who understands precisely how it ties into your roof.
We Don't Upsell
If your skylight can be repaired, we’ll tell you. If it needs replacing, we’ll show you exactly why. Our goal is the right skylight solution for your home — not the most profitable one for us.
Premium Materials, No Substitutions
We use quality skylight units, flashing kits, and sealing systems on every installation and repair. How a skylight is installed matters just as much as the materials that go into it.
