Second-Generation Craftsmanship. Premium Materials. Free Chimney Flashing Inspections for Every Arkansas Homeowner.
Where your chimney meets the roof sits one of the most leak-prone joints on any home — and in Arkansas, that joint endures a lot. Wind-driven rain, hammering hail, swinging temperatures, and brutal summer sun gradually loosen the metal flashing and sealant that hold water back. Once that barrier gives way, you need a contractor who truly understands how chimney flashing is designed to perform.
Pegasus Roofing and Construction is Central Arkansas’s trusted specialist in chimney flashing repair, led by owner Joseph Blankenship — a second-generation roofer who has worked on rooftops since age 10. Whether it’s resealing tired flashing, tracking down persistent leaks, completing full flashing replacement, or supporting an insurance claim, we serve Ward, Cabot, Little Rock, Jacksonville, and towns across the region.
What We Do
Everything Our Chimney Flashing Repair Service Covers
Chimney Flashing Replacement
When chimney flashing has rusted through, pulled loose, or simply given out after years of Arkansas weather, a complete replacement is the only durable solution. Pegasus strips away the failing material entirely and installs new, precisely fitted flashing built to keep water out for good. We combine long-lasting metal flashing with premium sealants and, where appropriate, premium Atlas Shingles with Scotchgard protection around the repair zone to resist algae, moisture, and the accelerated weathering our climate causes.
We work with every type of chimney and flashing setup, including:
- Step flashing
- Counter flashing
- Base and apron flashing
- Cricket and saddle flashing
- Masonry chimney flashing
- Metal chimney flashing
Every chimney flashing job includes a complete inspection of the surrounding decking and shingles, proper sealing, and a careful cleanup — because lasting protection comes from getting every detail right.
Chimney Flashing Leak Repair
Not every chimney flashing problem requires a full replacement, and we’ll never recommend one unless it’s genuinely needed. If you notice water stains near the chimney, flashing that’s loose or lifted, cracked caulking, or a slow drip after a storm, our chimney flashing leak repair restores a watertight seal quickly and correctly. We follow the leak back to its true origin — not just the stain in your ceiling — and resolve it right the first time.
Free Chimney Flashing Inspections
Not sure whether your chimney flashing is the real source of that leak? Wondering if it needs resealing or complete replacement? Pegasus Roofing provides free chimney flashing inspections to every Central Arkansas homeowner — no pressure, no sales pitch, no cost. Our team carefully examines the flashing, the surrounding shingles, and the overall chimney condition, documents any issues with photos, and gives you an honest report of what we found and what we recommend. You’ll have everything you need to decide with confidence.
Storm-Related Chimney Flashing Damage
Arkansas endures some of the fiercest hail and wind in the country, and chimney flashing is often the first component to fail when a storm moves through. Damage that looks harmless from the ground can hide dented metal, broken seals, and gaps that let water seep in long before a stain appears inside. If a recent storm passed over your home, don’t assume the flashing survived — have it inspected.
We offer free chimney flashing inspections, detailed documentation of the damage, and experienced guidance through the insurance claims process from start to finish.
Insurance Claim Assistance
A denied or underpaid insurance claim after storm damage is one of the most frustrating situations a homeowner can face. Pegasus Roofing has walked hundreds of Central Arkansas homeowners through the claims process — from correctly documenting chimney flashing and roof damage up front to resolving disputes and ensuring the approved scope reflects the true extent of your loss.
We know how insurers assess roofing and chimney flashing claims, what documentation they require, and how to present your case effectively. We’ll stand with you at every step so nothing slips through the cracks.
Please note: Pegasus Roofing and Construction is a licensed residential contractor. We provide insurance assistance in our role as your contractor — we are not public adjusters or insurance professionals. For complex legal or claims disputes, we recommend consulting a licensed public adjuster or attorney.
Why Central Arkansas Homeowners Trust Pegasus for Chimney Flashing Repair

Joseph Blankenship didn’t learn chimney flashing in a classroom — he grew up on rooftops, working alongside his father from age 10. That lifelong, hands-on experience means when Pegasus inspects your chimney flashing, you’re getting the trained eye of someone who has sealed thousands of them.
We Don't Upsell
If your chimney flashing only needs resealing, that’s what we’ll tell you. If it truly must be replaced, we’ll show you exactly why. Our goal is the right repair for your home — not the largest invoice for us.

We use durable, high-quality flashing metal and sealants on every chimney flashing project, and install Atlas Shingles with Scotchgard protection around qualifying repairs. What goes into your flashing matters just as much as how it’s installed.
